Twinch Technology is a new Internet venture making available detailed and highly expert advice that has hitherto been available only in the UK. Twinch Technology is a branch of Richard Twinch Design Ltd. that was established in England in 1981 (Registered Number 1576083). This company was set up by an architect Richard Twinch who had both engineering as well as architectural experience and qualifications and saw the then, new, microcomputers as a way of investigating certain 'grey areas' that he knew to exist in the field of Building Technology. Foremost among these was the effects of increasing insulation standards, in particular Interstitial Condensation.
The software was developed to answer specific questions and problems that arose, and are arising, in buildings. In particular the software and consultancy services have been used by Celotex Ltd. a major national and international insulation manufacturer for many years on a day to day basis. See Projects.
