The project brief was for a studio to be attached to a Grade II listed building.

 

As a result it had to be built with vernacular materials.

The client wanted a secluded place to write film music complete with a mini recording studio. The challenge was to make a creative environment in a traditional setting and to incorporate technology seamlessly.
     
An earlier planning application was reworked to fit the site. The result is a room that maintains and adds to the character of the house.
