The porch is designed to tuck into the existing
brick surround to the front door - which is the only significant
architectural feature of the existing house and could not be lost.
The brickwork was chosen to match the original and second hand bricks were found to match the existing detailing - all carefully put together by David Apthorp - complete with hardwood frame and copper guttering. |
