Suggetts is a 17/18th century listed building built of oak which was extended, first by the Victorians to make a shop to the front and secondly in the 1980s to add extra bedrooms, a bathroom et al into the extensive rear garden - which includes a large wooden barn.      A feasibility plan showed that the former shop, which receives the afternoon sun when opened up to the front courtyard, would make a much better kitchen. As a result an old, small window was replaced with large arched doors, designed to match the windows of the original house.

The clients, a manager of an international computer company and his wife who is training to be a landscape gardener, wanted to restore the original house and add a conservatory.   Computer aided photomontage techniques were successfully employed to examine this possibility and to design the conservatory.
